Ivan Mosca, 1915 - 2005, was an Italian painter and artist. He relocated to Milan, where he studied at the Istituto Superiore per le Industrie Artistiche in Monza. He met artists like Osvaldo Licini, Manlio Rho, Mario Radice, and Atanasio Soldati of the Gallery "Il Milione" and expressed interest in abstract painting. He relocated to Rome in 1936 to study at the Academy of Fine Arts, where he developed his individual style. A crucial encounter was that with Irene Brin and Gaspero del Corso, the two proprietors of the "L'Obelisco" art gallery, who helped him promote his work in the United States.
