Milagros Pongo is a modern artist working in Florida who was born in Lima on April 18, 1972. She studied painting at the Instituto Nacional de Bellas Artes in Mexico and under Porfirio Bustos in Asunción, Paraguay. Her technique is also influenced by further research in chromotherapy and feng shui. For over thirty years, Pongo has participated in solo and group exhibitions of her artwork. Among these are overseas locations in the US, Brazil, South Africa, Korea, Italy, and Turkey. The Vatican Museum is home to one of Pongo's paintings, which is the most notable exhibits.
She employs charcoal, ink, lavender, CBD, oil and acrylic paint, Judea oils, and texturing media in her method. Pongo's visual compositions feature prominent representations of the Incan, Celtic, and Toltec civilizations.
