Late 19th Century Napoleon III Flip Top table a jeu (game table). Black lacquered wood. Beautifully hand carved mother-of-pearl and bronze marquetry motif top and apron depicting acanthus leaves, bouquets, scrolls, trailing foliate, and floral arabesques. Finely cast ormolu mounts adorning the shoulders trailing down to the feet, with tapering cabriole legs.
The table top pivots and flips open to reveal a green felt playing surface.

Antique/Vintage Conditions: Game table is in good antique condition. The flip top mechanism is in great working order. Minor paint loss, chips in wood. Minor blemishes, imperfections across the piece to be expected. Some stains on the felt along the middle seam.
